Join us in kicking off our fall season of the Social Club, featuring the incredibly talented Carly Martin for an evening of music theatre! With selections by renowned composers from classic and new musicals, you will be transported to a magnificent world of storytelling. Accompanied by Paul Rodermond, Carly will share some of her favourite songs from the likes of Into the Woods, My Fair Lady, Waitress and Phantom of the Opera, just to name a few. 🎹

Carly is a classically trained vocalist, actor and performer, who finds a sense of home in theatre and music: the community, the artistry and the palpable connection between an artist and an audience motivates and inspires her to continue telling stories and sharing her voice. She discovered a deep love for performing at the age of nine, and is a graduate of Sheridan College where she received her Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance. 🎭

We are excited to announce a night of live music featuring Evan Redsky and Nick Sherman!🔥

Evan is a First Nations singer-songwriter from Mississaugi First Nation and Shoal Lake #40 who currently resides in Toronto. He is fresh off the release of his album Oblivion, and a performance at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Many of his songs reflect on the lived Indigenous experience in the context of Americana, Folk, and Indie rock genre. With this performance, he will be sharing original music and storytelling.

Nick is a Thunder Bay-based artist who’s folk-rock music tells stories of the remote north, celebrating the tenacity and resilience it takes to survive it. He is a voice for those whose challenges have brought them down and built them up.

Matt Sellick is a flamenco guitarist and composer originally from Thunder Bay, Canada. Now living in Toronto, he tours internationally with guitarist Jesse Cook. With funding from the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts, Matt has produced four albums of original solo guitar music, and a suite of orchestral arrangements. He has had the privilege of performing as a soloist with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Consortium Aurora Borealis, and the Annex String Quartet.
